"What A Wonderful World"
I see trees of green, red roses too. I see them bloom, for me and you. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world. I see skies of blue, And clouds of white. The bright blessed day, The dark sacred night. And I think to myself, What a wonderful world. The colors of the rainbow, So pretty in the sky. Are also on the faces, Of people going by, I see friends shaking hands. Saying, "How do you do?" They're really saying, "I love you". I hear babies cry, I watch them grow, They'll learn much more, Than I'll ever know. And I think to myself, What a wonderful world. Yes, I think to myself, What a wonderful world. Oh yeah. |
MeaningThis song by Louis Armstrong to me comes across as a beautiful spring day. I think he does also talk about people but I think it is kind of about the seasons and beautiful weather spreading to peoples moods. Although not all this song is about seasons I think the elements in the first and second verses is enough.
Types and TechniquesThe genre of this song is jazz.
Why I chose this SongI chose this song because it is a jazzy song with a great tune. I like the words because they go with the tune as they are cheery and happy. The words are also reminding of a spring day but could also be any season.
